Liar Dice Tournament

Liar Dice is the second most popular game at British Go Tournaments. I think we like it because it is a complete change from the severe logic of go. To win you need psychology, bluff, and a little luck.

In 1992 there was a Liar Dice Tournament in Canterbury. The winner was Jan Rüten-Budde (2 Dan, Hamburg/Germany). He is still the reigning EGF Liar Dice Champion.

But perhaps not after next Tuesday. There will be another EGF Liar Dice Championship in the Main Hall at 18:00. Anyone can enter. If you are a beginner, we will explain the rules. There is no need to enter in advance. If you are there at 18:00 you can join in. I hope to see you there!
