And so do the people who sit in front of a computer screen, producing this journal, while the rest of us play friendly games of go and drink beer. But there is a third group of people, whom perhaps you have not thought about, who also deserve our thanks. Have you considered what it is like to be responsible for a party of young go players, for 14 days nonstop, 24 hours a day? Nice for the young players; hard work for the adults.
These youngsters represent the future of European go. I think that the adults from Romania, Finland, Britain, and perhaps other countries which I don’t know about, who lead these parties, deserve a hearty thank-you from all of us.
