It’s Wednesday and issue No. 5 of the CongressNews is in your hands. You may wonder about the short time between this and the last issue. But as we do our work late at night, we forgot to put an important article by Gionata into the last issue.
In the middle of this issue you will find a special surprise. It’s the group photo of all congress participants. Try to find yourself and your go friends on the picture and enjoy.
As you know, journalism is a really hard job. First you have to find interesting stories and then the right words to express them. Finally you have to check for accuracy. Harald is quite good in the first two points, but he still has to do a lot on the last. (Remember: The “Veneziana” is not beside the supermarket; there are two, not one go stone in Padova; Chinese restaurant on holiday....)
With great joy we see the idea of this CongressNews came to fruition. As you see in this issue, a lot of you wrote articles about all kinds of stuff. This is how it should be and we thank you very much for that. Please remember we still have two issues to produce, so kepp on doing this. May we remind you, that Andreas Fecke is a really good cartoonist but always hungers for good ideas for his next cartoon.
