Vi segnalo che la Federazione Internazionale ha comunicato la
realizzazione del First World Mind Sports Games (WMSG) che si terrà
nella medesima sede delle Olimpiadi estive, dal 3 al 18 ottobre 2008
sotto gli auspici della International Mind Sports Association (IMSA),
del China Card and Board Game Centre, e della General Association of
International Sports Federations (GAISF).

Oltre alle competizioni di Go si terranno anche quelle di Scacchi,
Bridge, Dama e Xiang-qi. (Sul sito della Federazione Americana c'è un

I dettagli tecnici relativi al Go non sono ancora disponibili, ma
saranno organizzate diverse competizioni a cui potranno accedere sia
professionisti che amatori. Gli organizzatori copriranno le spese di
vitto e alloggio, non il viaggio.
