15th Slovenian Open (19th Memorial of Lado Omejc)
Bled, 20 – 22 April 2007
Go Association of Slovenia – in cooperation with Go Club
Kranj – is happy to invite you to the 19th Memorial of Lado
Omejc – Slovenian Open 2007. This traditional tournament
will be held from 20th to 22nd April 2007 in Bled, one of
the main tourist centres in Slovenia.
This year’s Slovenian Open will be a part of 2006-07
European Cup competition: 50 points will be distributed to
best 8 players.


VENUE:	Hotel Astoria, Bled 
PROPOSITIONS:	MacMahon 6 rounds, Japanese rules, komi 6.575
minutes per player, overtime 25 stones in 10 minutes

ACCOMMODATION:

1.	In the hotel where the tournament takes place (double
rooms) or in a nearby villa: 
30 EUR room with breakfast40 EUR half board50 EUR full
board	(+ tourist tax = 1 EUR)(+ tourist tax = 1 EUR)(+
tourist tax = 1 EUR) 

2.	Accommodation in single room costs additional 12 EUR.
  
3.	In nice private rooms, available on request. We can
arrange 3-bed or 4-bed apartments for 20 people in total,
about 4-8 km away from the playing site. Price 12,50 EUR per
person/day, when staying more than two nights the price is
only 10 EUR. If the apartment is full, more people can join
in if they have sleeping bags (for about 5 EUR per day).
 
4.	In Bled Youth Hostel, at a walking distance (5 minutes)
from the playing site, where we had reserved 10 beds for the
tournament participants in 2- or 3-bed rooms. Price is about
20 EUR per day (breakfast included).
The number of all reservations (hotel, private rooms and
apartments, youth hostel) is limited, so it is recommended
to book early to get the desired accommodation.


ENTRY FEE:	10 EUR for early registration (before
15.4.2007)15 EUR for registration on site5 EUR for junior

PRIZES:

placed other player (2k or lower)  

All players with 5 or 6 wins will get small money or
practical prizes, and the best woman player will get free
accommodation (if she does not accept any other prize).

VISA REFUND:	For those players who need to get a visa for
entering Slovenia, there will be a partial refund of visa
costs (up to 30 EUR per player). Since the budget for these
refunds is limited to 300 EUR, those who apply first will
have the advantage.
